My latest hymnal inspiration comes from Isaac Watts’ song published in 1715 and originally titled Praise for Creation and Providence. You can listen to the song sung by the Ball Brothers on the Gaither Music YouTube channel while enjoying my photographic tour of Peru.
I sing the mighty power of God, That made the mountains rise;
That spread the flowing seas abroad, And built the lofty skies.
I sing the wisdom that ordained The sun to rule the day;
The moon shines full at His command, And all the stars obey.
I sing the goodness of the Lord, That filled the earth with food;
He formed the creatures with His word, And then pronounced them good.
Lord, how Thy wonders are displayed, Where'er I turn my eye: If I survey the ground I tread, Or gaze upon the sky!
There's not a plant or flow'r below, But makes Thy glories known;
And clouds arise, and tempests blow, By order from Thy throne;
While all that borrows life from Thee Is ever in Thy care, And ev'rywhere that man can be, Thou, God, art present there.

Rachel this is incredibly beautiful – you are a great photographer, among other talents. Such beauty of our wonderful Creator. It amazes me how you find time to do this kind of artistry
Thank you, Carol. I love photography, and Peru is SO beautiful it’s hard NOT to get amazing pictures! As for finding time to do this… take pictures and put them together with thoughtful words… it’s my way of relaxing while at the same time showcasing God’s beautiful creation.
Beautiful! Fun seeing those red ribbons around the animals’ necks…always reminds me that our salvation is secure in Jesus. 😉
Ahh, Rachel! I listened to the Ball Brothers as I watched your pictures. It was such a blessing to my heart. Your photos are beautiful, the singing inspirational. Thank you for sharing!
